Creative Career Support for ArtCenter Students & Alumni
We provide resources, programming, and personalized advising support to empower ArtCenter students and alumni to explore their professional goals, build their community, and thrive in their creative careers.
1:1 Career Advising
Our skilled Career Advisors are available to meet one-on-one with students and alumni weekly. Students can book an appointment to discuss resumes, cover letters, job search or applications, internships, interview prep, and more!
Resume Reviews
Every term Creative Careers hosts a series of professional skill building workshops and student panels that cover topics such as freelancing, interviewing, networking, resumes, internships, and more!
Career Workshops
Our Career Advisors offer email reviews of resumes and cover letters. This is a great option when students need a quick review for an upcoming application deadline, don't have time for a full 45-minute career advising appointment, or career advising appointments are booked for the week.
Career Guides & Resources
The Creative Careers team has an extensive library of resources with new guides created regularly on all career-related topics for artists and designers.

Curated Internships & Job Board
CPD manages For-Credit Internships and works with students and employers to complete the necessary requirements. These internships offer a structured learning environment, facilitating mentorship opportunities and allowing students to merge classroom concepts with real-world challenges, preparing them for their future careers.
Internships for Academic Credit
Creative Careers partners with employers from around the world to post paid art and design-related internships; full-time, part-time, and freelance positions; and residencies and fellowships on our platform called ArtCenter Connect.
Our team also sends curated jobs emails to students in every department.
Fostering Industry Connections & Building Your Creative Community
Career Chats & Panels
Throughout each term, Creative Careers hosts numerous panels featuring renowned industry professionals who share their experiences in the creative field with students.
Creative Careers Mentorship Program
At one of ArtCenter’s most anticipated events of the year, graduating students connect directly with employers, network with peers, and explore opportunities for recruitment and future collaboration both in person and online.
Grad Show Preview
Creative Careers’ Mentorship Program is a yearly application-based opportunity that thoughtfully pairs ArtCenter students with established creative professionals for 10 weeks of mentorship where creativity, career, and life can be explored.
