Creative Career Support for ArtCenter Students & Alumni

We provide resources, programming, and personalized advising support to empower ArtCenter students and alumni to explore their professional goals, build their community, and thrive in their creative careers.

1:1 Career Advising

Our skilled Career Advisors are available to meet one-on-one with students and alumni weekly. Students can book an appointment to discuss resumes, cover letters, job search or applications, internships, interview prep, and more!

Resume Reviews

Every term Creative Careers hosts a series of professional skill building workshops and student panels that cover topics such as freelancing, interviewing, networking, resumes, internships, and more!

Career Workshops

Our Career Advisors offer email reviews of resumes and cover letters. This is a great option when students need a quick review for an upcoming application deadline, don't have time for a full 45-minute career advising appointment, or career advising appointments are booked for the week.

Curated Internships & Job Board

CPD manages For-Credit Internships and works with students and employers to complete the necessary requirements. These internships offer a structured learning environment, facilitating mentorship opportunities and allowing students to merge classroom concepts with real-world challenges, preparing them for their future careers.

Creative Careers partners with employers from around the world to post paid art and design-related internships; full-time, part-time, and freelance positions; and residencies and fellowships on our platform called ArtCenter Connect.

Grad Show Preview

Creative Careers’ Mentorship Program is a yearly application-based opportunity that thoughtfully pairs ArtCenter students with established creative professionals for 10 weeks of mentorship where creativity, career, and life can be explored.

  • To book an appointment, log into ArtCenter Connect and look for Advising in the top right corner.

  • Access paid art & design opportunities curated for ArtCenter Students & Alumni and posted by employers from all over the world.

    Quickly search, sort, and filter to find the right opportunity for you. Check out your favorited jobs or jobs you recently viewed and apply on your own time.

  • Learn about and sign up for portfolio reviews, information sessions, workshops, career chats, and other Creative Careers events.

  • To register an internship for Academic Credit, you’ll need to submit an Internship Registration application on ArtCenter Connect.
